The Arizona Immigration Law has sparked a nationwide debate.  Here in Virginia we are watching it closely, since it may ultimately impact us on a local level.  We all know that there is a huge day-laborer situation in Herndon, and Corey Stewart has made waves with aggressive enforcement of immigration laws out in Prince William County.

Now it seems that the Obama administration is going to take the Arizona Legislation to court.

Not only is racial discrimination overtly precluded by the bill, but there is a compelling case that the law is actually LESS strict than current federal law!  You don’t hear that on NBC!!  Here is a quote directly from the law itself:

A law enforcement official or agency of this state or a county, city, town or other political subdivision of this state may not solely consider race, color or national origin in implementing the requirements of this subsection except to the extent permitted by the United States or Arizona Constitution.

Not only that – check out this clip of Megyn Kelly from Fox News, who is herself, a lawyer: (Kelly begins her segment at minute 2:30)
